Terms & Conditions
All holidays operated by PDTC Ltd (“the Company”, “us”, “our”, “we”) are sold to the client (“the Client”, “you”) subject to the following conditions:

Booking and confirmation:

To secure your booking please complete the on-line booking form and pay a £500 per person non-refundable deposit. A contract shall exist between you and the Company when a completed booking form and deposit is received and your holiday confirmation is dispatched. If you are booking a holiday eight weeks or less before the start date of that holiday, the full balance is payable on booking.

Details of what is included in the price of your holiday are shown within the Company website.

Paying a deposit is deemed to be an acceptance of both the booking conditions and the terms and conditions of booking on a tour.

Payment of balance:

We will invoice you for the final balance of your holiday which you must pay 8 weeks before the start date of your holiday. If you are booking a holiday 8 weeks or less before the start date of that holiday, the full balance is payable on booking. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation should you fail to pay the outstanding balance by the agreed date.

If full settlement is not received by the due date we reserve the right to cancel the booking in line with the charges as detailed in “Cancellation by you”.

Methods of Payment:

You may pay by cheque, credit card, debit card or electronic transfer (BACS or CHAPS). Please allow enough time for the funds to clear by the payment due date.

Cancellation by you:

Cancellation notice is required in writing and the following charges will be applied:

Cancellation by the Client.

8 weeks or more before the start date – forfeit deposit.

Cancellation less than 8 weeks before the start date – forfeit 100% of holiday cost.

Cancellation by us:

The Company will only cancel your holiday if forced to do so by circumstances beyond our control. For example by riot, war, adverse weather conditions, fire or other natural disaster. In these circumstances you will first be offered an alternative date. If this is not acceptable the Company will pay a full refund of the cost of the holiday. We will not be liable for any other expenses you may have incurred as a result of your booking, for example, travel arrangements.

Legal Compliance:

It is your responsibility to keep your vehicle in safe working order in accordance with domestic UK law and the law as applicable in the countries we visit.

You/your vehicle must have a driving licence, road tax, insurance and MOT.

Conduct:

Clients make their own decisions regarding their driving abilities and drive accordingly and entirely at their own risk. PDTC Ltd cannot be held liable for client or third party safety whilst driving. It is strictly forbidden to race or take part in any form of competition driving, illegal or behaviour considered to be antisocial. We reserve the right to remove any person from the holiday if their behaviour is deemed to be detrimental to the safety and enjoyment of other clients. Under these circumstances no refund will be paid. If you have to drop out of a drive/s or from the trip, we will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred. Whilst out on drives you must abide by the local laws.

Vehicle Livery:

You must not place any livery on the exterior of your vehicle other than those provided by PDTC Ltd.

Our responsibilities:

We will provide a holiday as described on the Company website. Be aware that due to unforeseen circumstances parts of the holiday such as planned routes, accommodation or catering may vary slightly from those described. In these situations, the overall quality and experience of the trip will be maintained.

Loss and damage:

PDTC Ltd accepts no responsibility for loss or damage arising from failure to carry out the contract, or in the process of carrying out the contract, as a result of A, the actions of the Client or Clients, B, unforeseen or unusual events beyond the control of the Company, or C, the theft of or damage to vehicles or other equipment or injury to the client, whether this be whilst driving, or at any other time during the holiday.

Insurance:

You must provide adequate insurance cover for your travel and motor needs before joining one of our tours. This should include motor, travel and health insurance. No insurance of any kind will be provided by PDTC Ltd. We also recommend that you take out an appropriate motor breakdown cover that covers all the countries in which we will be driving.

Complaints and issues:

If you have cause for complaint about your holiday you must bring it to our attention as soon as possible so that action can be taken. If you feel the problem was not resolved you must inform us in writing within 14 days and we will respond within 14 days and attempt to resolve the matter to the satisfaction.

Please see individual tour information and be aware this is subject to minor changes when necessary.

What’s Excluded:

All vehicle related expenses.

Lunch (not normally included)

All drinks hot and cold, any extras at hotels, accommodation upgrades, room and hotel services.

Third party transport & Ferry crossings:

If you miss any pre booked ferry crossings or other third party transport included in the tour package it is your responsibility to pay for any additional costs incurred.

Third Party Carriage:

Any carriage by third party operators either by air, sea or rail will be subject to the terms and conditions of the carriage supplier.

Travel Delays:

It is possible that the schedule for advanced bookings maybe changed by the third party and that prearranged events may be delayed or rescheduled for reasons out of our control. Any travel delays both before and during the tour, whether foreseen or not, can in no way be deemed to be our responsibility and therefore we will not be liable for any extra costs you may incur. Examples of such costs are, but not limited to, hotels, ferry crossings, hire cars, meals and drinks.

These conditions apply regardless of the how the delays were brought about.

Examples are, but not limited to, adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, technical difficulties industrial disputes. For whatever reason you are unable to complete the tour you will in no circumstances be entitled to any refund for any unused third party services booked on your behalf.

Media Rights:

you agree that any photographic or video imagery captured during the tour may be used freely by us in our own promotional material.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions:

In booking a tour you are deemed to have read and fully understood the terms and conditions of participation and agree to be bound by them in their entirety. If upon reading these term and conditions you do not understand any part of them, you must contact us before paying your deposits.
