What type of car is suitable?
Our tours are intended for driving enthusiasts. You can drive whatever car or vehicle you like, but we’d recommend something that’s fun to drive.
Are electric cars suitable?
No, due to the unknown availability of charging stations and daily mileage.
How many miles will we cover in a day?
Depending on the tour, we’ll cover approximately 300 miles per day.
What's the pace of the driving?
It’s definitely not a race but we intend to have some fun within the limits.
How far in advance do I need to book my holiday?
Places are limited to 10 vehicles per tour, and we recommend booking as early possible to guarantee your place. You can normally book up to 12 months in advance.
Do I require travel insurance?
Yes.
Do I require European break down cover?
Yes.
How many cars are on a tour?
Our tours are limited to 10 cars.
Is it possible to get left behind the group?
Every car will be provided with a sat nav, pre loaded with the route for the day, so you’ll always be on the right route. There will be regular stops for fuel, food, and to take in the views and re group.
What is the format of the tours?
Our tour guide(s) lead the group, feeding back important information through their walkie talkie, such as hazards on the road or informing the group of a fuel/lunch stop, etc.
Can two drivers share a single car?
Yes.
Do you provide private tours?
Yes. We can run any of our existing tours for private groups, car clubs, etc.
Do you follow the same route for each tour every year?
No. We change the routes slightly each year to take in new roads, different routes, and new hotels.
